“100 Films 100 Posters” is an annual film poster exhibition that has been held since 2015 to celebrate Jeonju International Film Festival. For this event, 100 films are selected from the screenings of the year, and 100 graphic designers participate to create each film’s poster. The outputs are exhibited on streets and galleries during the festival.
Since the designers have maximum freedom throughout their creative process, free from any commercial pressure and visual clichés, the final posters created are often fresh, vivid, and sometimes surprisingly unfamiliar.
“100 Films 100 Posters” is a notable collaboration between the film industry and the graphic design community, which is growing into a unique event drawing passionate responses from audiences as well as filmmakers and designers. * These posters are sold at an affordable price (about 3 USD each) to the visitors like a sort of souvenir during the festival. The proceeds will be fully donated to independent film organizations in Jeonju.

Just 6.5 (2019)
Just 6.5 is an action thriller film that set a new box office record in Iran. From the beginning, the film moves tremendously fast by showing narcotics squad detective Samad chasing drug dealer Nasser. A typical genre film would double the catharsis by placing the process of chase and arrest in the climax, but in this film, the scene where Samad successfully capturing Nasser appears in the middle. However, the film actually starts from here. The prison where Nasser is locked up is a mess and even Samad is out of control. Like the title, which refers to the 6.5 million drug addicts in Iran, Samad’s attempt to get rid of drugs on the streets seems like the vain work Sisyphus repeated in Greek mythology.
