Cellophane: a reference archive
The collection of artefacts in this show has been amassed over the past ten years. It creates a link between methodical visual research – functional to the design practice – and a set of chance encounters. It consists of two parts: a print archive and a digital installation. The first brings together materials from various cities, here the work of graphic design studios is blended with popular culture, and design ideas are mixed up with memories and experiences. In the second, design references taken from the web re-emerge in a hypnotic flux.
